IMPACT OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE ON JOBS

Image
In the 21 st century the whole world is within the grasp of the modern technology. Even if we are sitting in our home or we are at our workplace, whatever is happening around the world be it in the remotest corner of the world, we get to know about it in a matter of seconds, thanks to the technology we have gifted ourselves with it. I believe that there is a direct relationship between the technology and the jobs. Both of them are interlinked with each other. In fact, I can at least say that both Automation & Artificial Intelligence will increase jobs. I would like to support this with the help of few examples: - v   We all use the  Artificial Teller Machines' at least once in a while. This ATM is nothing but a machine which is run by artificial intelligence. We type the amount that we wish to withdraw from it, the machine processes our request and we get the said amount as requested by us. This machine is not created by the robots., rather it is created by hu

FOOD WASTAGE - A THING OF THE PAST

Image
Everyday tons of perishable vegetables and fruits are being wasted. Hundreds and millions of dollars are being eroded from our economy due to such agricultural product’s waste. Such wastage can be attributed to the human negligence, weather conditions, improper distribution planning of the delivery of the products, etc. This in turn is affecting the income of the farmers whose sole income depends on the selling of such produce in the market. This in turn sometimes affects the demand and supply chain mechanism of the agricultural sector around the globe. If such wastage can be controlled can we imagine the effect that it will have upon our economy. The farmers, retailers and customers including the industry as a whole will all have a smiling and bright face .                            Yes, my friends, this objective of reducing this wastage is possible and is achievable. One of our brothers in Uganda, Lawrence Okettayot   ha

Image
We  know that how social computing, service innovation and service designs are slowly but steadily gaining importance in our society. The external and internal business environment are getting  benefited from it.              S ervice innovation takes place when there is an exchange between firms and customers, where all the providers are service providers and goods are merely the provision of service. WHY IS THE INDIAN RUPEE DEPRECIATING?

Image
Indian rupee has been one of the worst performing major emerging market currency in 2018, and the worst in Asia-Pacific region. For the first time in the history of the world’s largest democracy, the currency has fallen into such low historical point. Let us examine into the possible reasons for such depreciation of the rupees. v   The dollar is the only international currency through which about 80 percent of the international trade and investments are being conducted. The Indian rupees,   being a non floating currency has little to say in determining the market value of the dollar. v   India imports around 80 percent of its oil from the OPEC countries. The Indian government makes payments in terms of petrodollars to these countries. With the increase in the price of oil at nearly $90   a barrel, there is a huge outflow of dollars from the forex reserve of India. As a result of which the fiscal deficit as well as the current account deficit is increasing at an alarming rate
